Hi, I’m Bobby
I’m a Naropa-trained therapist with advanced clinical training in somatic therapy, parts work, and ADHD support. Outside of work, you'll usually find me on a trail — running or skiing, depending on the season. I grew up in New York, spent over a decade in the Pacific Northwest, and landed in Boulder six years ago. I haven't left since.
Mindfulness has been part of my life for a long time, in ways that ended up shaping how I practice. I studied yoga in India, sat with the Zen community at Green Gulch Farm in Muir Beach, and spent time at Esalen studying conscious leadership.
I completed 220 hours of training in Hakomi Psychotherapy, across both Level 1 and Level 2. I’ve learned over the years that most effective therapy starts with true knowing- true knowing of yourself, your needs, and your values.
ADHD Support
ADHD is a disorder of performance, not capability. The struggle isn't knowing what to do; it’s bridging the gap between your intentions and consistent follow-through.
Clinical counseling and coaching provide practical, evidence-based scaffolding to work with your brain:
Break Task Paralysis: Build momentum and reliable follow-through without needing crisis-mode adrenaline to begin.
Custom Systems Design: Develop personalized daily tools that work with your wiring instead of forcing neurotypical molds.
Relief from Burnout: Release years of masking and self-criticism to cultivate grounded, sustainable confidence.
Somatic Therapy
Long before the mind finds words, the body already knows.
"Somatic" means of the body—tuning into physical sensation as a doorway to emotional truth.
Felt experience comes first: Our deepest emotional responses register in the nervous system and physical body before the mind ever rationalizes or analyzes them.
Listening beneath the surface: We track subtle physical cues—tension, breath, posture, and felt sensations—to uncover the honest feelings underneath whatever is pulling your attention.
Shifting stuck patterns: By meeting these sensations directly, we unwind the old protective habits, core beliefs, and reflexive stories that keep you feeling stuck.
Grounded in True Knowing: You leave sessions with more than intellectual insight; you cultivate an embodied self-trust and the confidence to act from what is authentically true for you.
