True Connection Matters

Few things impact your daily well-being more than the health of your primary relationship. Yet, navigating deep intimacy requires navigating deep complexity. You and your partner deserve more than just getting by—you deserve to feel a profound sense of warmth, joy, and mutual trust. Your relationship goals matter, your emotional safety matters, and your shared future is worth investing in. Together, we work to restore your connection while honoring who you each are as individuals.

Counseling Tailored to Your Core Needs

Emotional Safety

Our romantic partners are often the first people we turn to for comfort and security. When that sense of safety feels threatened, it can feel as though your whole world is crashing down. A deep, reliable foundation of emotional safety is the heart of a fulfilling relationship. In our work together, you will gain practical tools, somatic resources, and relational practices to help you defuse tension, soften defensiveness, and restore a felt sense of security with one another.

Sense of Self

A thriving partnership isn't about two people merging into one; it’s about two distinct, complex individuals coming together to influence and enrich each other's lives. While building a shared life is deeply rewarding, maintaining your own identity, boundaries, and inner world is essential.

When you lose touch with who you are outside of the relationship, it's easy for resentment to build and for the initial spark of attraction to fade. Reclaiming your own sense of true self-knowing isn't selfish—it is often the very thing that brings passion, curiosity, and vitality back into your connection. Together, we support you in feeling fully anchored in yourself so you can show up more fully for your partner

Okay, give me the technical jargon.

In terms of couples counseling, I believe in helping couples experience secure attachment, while also supporting healthy differentiation and a sense of self. I use somatic awareness techniques to help clients better understand what emotions are happening for you and your partner so that they can be shared and felt together.

As a Hakomi and Naropa graduate and student of IFS techniques, I combine mindfulness-based counseling with somatic awareness prompts that allow you to get to know parts of yourself that are asking to be heard, understood, and felt. In doing so, clients tend to experience a sense of relief and greater self-compassion.
